uPVC doors can prove a tricky window blind to dress as you want to ensure that the covering provides sufficient privacy and light control whilst also being able to use the doors for access. With child safety in mind you also need to consider where a safety device can be fitted if needed and overall which product is going to be practical.
"It's nice to be able to listen to advice and for that advice to live up to expectations thereafter."
A great example of this is a recent installation that we did for our clients Mr & Mrs Ison. Having recently moved into new property in South Normanton. Mr & Mrs Ison were looking for a window dressing that would finish off the room, while also provide some privacy and functionality to the patio doors in there dining area.
Because the patio doors are made from uPVC we recommended using the perfect fit system as the installation doesn’t require any drilling that could invalidate the warranty on the new doors, because each blind is fitted onto the door when you go in or out the blind isn't an obstruction and also because the customer loves their garden another great feature of this blind is that when not in use they stack up into a very tight pack at the top of the window.
The room in question features a black and white decor with similar coloured accesories throughout. In order to stay inkeeping with this theme we suggested using a white frame with gloss black aluminum slats where the frames would blend in with the doors and the contrasting slat would complete the look.
Below are a few photographs of the blinds in situ as well as a fitting video so you can see both how the perfect fit system works and how easy the installation is.
"It's nice to be able to listen to advice and for that advice to live up to expectations thereafter. The service we received was 1st class (as were the blinds) and I would have no hesitation in recommending Order Blinds Nottingham and the Perfect Fit Blinds range to everyone."
